Not medical or nutrition advice
Stock & Stir and Lovett Landing, LLC are not doctors, registered dietitians, nutritionists, therapists, pharmacists, nurses, or other licensed healthcare providers. Information, meal suggestions, ingredient guidance, substitutions, dietary labels, cooking suggestions, and educational content are provided for general informational and practical cooking purposes only.
Nothing in Stock & Stir is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any disease, medical condition, allergy, intolerance, eating disorder, medication interaction, or nutritional deficiency. Do not use the service as a substitute for individualized advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Allergies, intolerances, and dietary restrictions
Ingredient databases, labels, substitutions, dietary compatibility indicators, and generated meal suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Product formulations also change. Users are responsible for reading current package labels, checking cross-contact warnings, confirming ingredients with manufacturers when necessary, and deciding whether a food is appropriate for their own household.
If an allergy, intolerance, religious rule, medical diet, or other restriction carries meaningful risk, do not rely on Stock & Stir as the final authority.
Food safety and cooking responsibility
Cooking involves heat, knives, appliances, raw foods, foodborne-illness risk, and other ordinary kitchen hazards. Follow appliance manufacturer instructions, local food-safety guidance, current package directions, and safe handling practices. Verify doneness and safe internal temperatures with appropriate tools when required.
Stock & Stir may provide timing, temperature, sequencing, storage, reheating, or safety guidance, but real kitchens, ingredients, appliances, elevations, portion sizes, and equipment vary. You are responsible for monitoring the food and making the final safety decision.
Automated and generated results can be wrong
Some Stock & Stir recommendations are assembled or generated automatically from kitchen inventory, household settings, cooking rules, and other inputs. Automated systems can misunderstand data, omit an ingredient, suggest an unsuitable substitution, or produce another error. Review the meal and instructions before cooking and use reasonable judgment throughout preparation.
Recipe and content provenance
Stock & Stir does not knowingly copy, scrape, publish, or lightly rewrite unlicensed third-party recipe text, directions, photographs, illustrations, articles, or other protected expressive content. Our recipe-generation and editorial policy is source-neutral: Stock & Stir recipes are developed through our own systems, culinary knowledge structures, owner-contributed techniques, and editorial process unless a third-party source is explicitly identified and its use, rights, license, or attribution is documented.
Common ingredients, ordinary cooking methods, cuisine traditions, and general culinary principles may naturally resemble techniques used by many cooks. That similarity does not mean Stock & Stir copied a particular recipe. If you believe material on Stock & Stir improperly uses content you own, contact legal@stockandstir.co with enough information for us to investigate.
