Who operates Stock and Stir

Stock and Stir is a product operated by Lovett Landing, LLC. This policy explains how Lovett Landing, LLC collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use Stock and Stir.

Information we may collect

• Account information: email address, optional display or household-member names, account identifiers, authentication status, and related account records.
• Kitchen and household information: pantry, refrigerator, freezer, equipment, household members, servings, preferences, avoidances, dietary settings, and other information you choose to save. Optional dietary and household settings may include allergies or other health-related information you provide to personalize meal planning.
• Product activity: meal-planning selections, generated meal requests, feature usage, error and performance information, and similar operational data.
• Subscription information: subscription status, plan, billing interval, trial dates, cancellation status, Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, Apple or Google Play purchase and transaction identifiers, purchase-verification records, and payment-status metadata. Full payment-card numbers are intended to be handled by the payment processor rather than stored by Stock and Stir.
• Support communications: messages and information you send when requesting help or contacting us.
• Technical information: browser/device information, network and security logs, and information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and personalize Stock and Stir, remember your kitchen and household, generate and rank meal options, maintain accounts and subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, communicate with you, comply with legal obligations, and protect Lovett Landing, LLC, our users, and the service.

Steady Energy personal check-ins

Meal outcomes, satisfaction ratings, short notes and their dates are saved to your account so you can reopen them on another device. These journal records are private to your user account within the selected household. Anything you choose to type in a meal note is included in the synced note.

Optional weight, named measurements, their units and targets stay in this browser or app on this device. Steady Energy never uploads those fields. When you choose a goal, the device evaluates it locally; only Goal met or Still trying and the check-in date are synced. We do not send personal measurement values, targets or journal notes to advertising, product-analytics events or meal-generation providers.

The eye control covers and reveals numbers on the screen; it does not encrypt a downloaded file or prevent someone with access to your device from inspecting local storage. Other devices do not receive the private measurements. Clearing browser or app data removes them. You may download a copy yourself and use Clear history now to clear device measurements, synced meal and goal history, or both. Clearing synced history affects your account across devices; clearing this device does not clear measurements saved locally on other devices.

Optional photos and voice features

If you choose pantry-photo recognition, the selected photo is transmitted to our API and OpenAI to identify food items. The recognition service does not save the original photo as a pantry record; extracted items can be saved to your kitchen after you review them. Our request disables storage of the OpenAI response, but this is not a promise that all provider processing or safety logs are immediately deleted.

If you enable voice commands on a supported device, its speech-recognition service may process microphone audio off the device and return recognized commands. You can use the onscreen controls instead. Natural cooking narration sends cooking-step text to the configured Google Cloud Text-to-Speech or ElevenLabs service to generate audio. These features are optional; voice availability depends on your device and permissions.

Photos, microphone audio and health-related kitchen settings are not sent as product-analytics event properties or used for advertising.

Referral program information

For optional referral-program participation, we collect your application, approval status, agreement acceptance, customer referral assignments, subscription commission records and bank-payment history. The program owner arranges private collection of a signed W-9 and US bank deposit details and stores them in Stock & Stir’s restricted business Bitwarden vault. The app does not upload or retain those documents or full account numbers; its payment setup record contains only the vault item reference, legal name, address state, bank account last four digits and review status. Access to the vault documents is restricted to authorized business users for payments and required tax reporting.

We use these records to administer the agreement, credit referrals, reconcile payments and refunds, prevent fraud, make bank deposits and prepare required information returns. We do not place tax IDs, W-9 documents or bank account numbers in analytics or advertising records. Required financial, agreement and tax records may be retained after participation or account access ends, for legal recordkeeping and payment reconciliation. A completed W-9 is generally kept for at least four years; other required retention periods may be longer. Contact us for corrections or privacy requests. Do not send tax or bank details through email or support messages.

Service providers

We may use service providers to host, authenticate, secure, process payments for, monitor, or otherwise operate Stock and Stir. These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary for the services they perform and are subject to their own terms and privacy obligations.

Providers include Supabase for authentication and saved account/kitchen data, Render for hosting, Stripe for website billing, Apple and Google Play for native purchases and purchase verification, OpenAI for meal-generation and optional pantry-photo recognition, and the configured Google Cloud Text-to-Speech or ElevenLabs service for optional cooking narration. Meal-generation providers process the kitchen, household and meal-request details needed to generate the requested result. Device speech recognition is handled by the device or browser speech service. Provider retention and privacy terms apply to their processing.

Product analytics and operational measurement

Stock and Stir may use a limited, predefined set of product events and technical facts to understand whether setup was completed, whether a requested feature succeeded or failed, whether customers return, which application version is running, and how the service is performing. We collect only the operational data reasonably needed to run, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve Stock and Stir.

When repeat use must be measured, an event may use an internal pseudonymous account or household identifier. The analytics event stream does not contain names, email addresses, saved kitchen contents, household profiles, dietary settings, meal requests or results, recipe or grocery-list contents, support messages, audio, photos, contacts, precise location, passwords, or full payment-card numbers. We do not use keystroke recording or session replay on authenticated product pages.

Information a customer deliberately saves in My Kitchen or another feature remains in the core service data needed to provide that feature; it is not copied into the analytics event stream. Staff, demonstration, automated-test, and synthetic activity is labeled separately and excluded from customer business measurements.

Public-site analytics and advertising measurement

We may use limited public-page, device, referral, campaign, and conversion information to understand whether Stock and Stir advertising and launch materials are working. Where required, we will provide consent or choice controls before using non-essential advertising or analytics technology.

We do not intentionally send saved kitchen contents, household profiles, dietary settings, generated meals, support messages, account passwords, or full payment-card numbers to advertising providers. Launch analytics should be configured to avoid collecting those sensitive product details.

Optional Meta advertising measurement

If you choose Allow in our advertising measurement notice, we use Meta Pixel to measure public visits and verified trial starts, and Meta Conversions API to report verified trial starts from our server for our advertising. The browser and server reports share an event identifier so the same trial can be counted once. A free trial is not reported as a paid purchase. Meta may receive browser and network information, cookie identifiers, an advertising click identifier when present, and the event type. A one-way checkout identifier is used to reduce duplicate trial events; we do not send the checkout session ID, email, name, kitchen, household, dietary or recipe details as event properties. Automatic advanced matching and automatic event configuration are disabled.

You can choose No thanks or change your choice using Ad privacy choices on this page. The service works without this tracking. We also keep optional advertising tracking off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Withdrawing permission stops future optional events; it does not recall events already sent. See Meta's privacy policy for its data handling.

Sale and advertising use

Lovett Landing, LLC does not sell Stock and Stir customer account, kitchen, or household data for money and does not use saved kitchen or household data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Limited public-site referral, campaign, and conversion information may be shared with advertising or analytics providers solely to measure and improve Lovett Landing, LLC’s own marketing. If these practices materially change, this policy will be updated and legally required choices will be provided.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, comply with law, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ by data type.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards, but no internet service, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may update or remove kitchen and household information through available product controls, cancel a subscription through the billing controls when billing is active, and contact us regarding access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests. Certain records may be retained where required or permitted by law, for security, fraud prevention, billing reconciliation, or legal claims.

Request account or data deletion

You can request deletion without installing the app or signing in. Email privacy@stockandstir.co from the email address used for your Stock and Stir account. Say whether you want to delete your entire account or specified kitchen, household, support or other saved data. We may verify account ownership before processing a request; do not send your password, payment-card number, tax documents or bank details.

You can also sign in to Account Settings, open Delete account, acknowledge the app-store subscription notice, and type DELETE to confirm. Account deletion removes your sign-in and private kitchen, saved plans, preferences, favorites, learning progress and support history. Shared kitchens remain available to their remaining members. You can update or remove kitchen and household information using the available product controls without deleting your account.

Deleting your SNS account does not cancel Apple or Google Play billing. Cancel any app-store subscription separately through Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings. Website subscriptions are canceled by the account-deletion flow. Necessary billing, security, fraud-prevention or legally required records may be retained for the applicable obligation; referral-program financial and tax retention is described above. We respond to requests as soon as reasonably practicable and explain any verification or retention that affects the request.

Children

Stock and Stir is not designed as a service directed to children under 13, and Lovett Landing, LLC does not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the service.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Stock and Stir changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and any notice required by applicable law.
