Terms of Use

1. Operator and service

Stock & Stir is a private meal-planning and cooking-support service operated by Lovett Landing, LLC. The service may include saved kitchen inventory, household settings, meal recommendations, generated cooking plans, educational materials, grocery-support features, Signature Recipes, and related tools.

Stock & Stir is not a government service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by, or acting on behalf of any government agency.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity occurring through your account. Do not share access in a way that defeats account or subscription controls. Notify us if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.

3. Subscriptions

Paid access, free-trial terms, automatic renewal, cancellation, payment failures, and refunds are governed by the Subscription & Cancellation Policy. Material billing terms will be presented before payment information is collected.

4. Not professional advice

Stock & Stir is not medical, nutrition, dietetic, allergy-treatment, legal, or other licensed professional advice. Lovett Landing, LLC and Stock & Stir are not acting as your doctor, dietitian, nutritionist, therapist, pharmacist, or other healthcare provider. See the Food, Health & Content Disclaimer.

5. Food safety, allergies, and user judgment

You are responsible for checking ingredients, labels, allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions, appliance instructions, food handling, doneness, storage, reheating, and other real-world kitchen conditions. Automated or editorial content can contain errors. Review instructions before cooking and use reasonable judgment.

6. Recipe and content provenance

Stock & Stir does not knowingly publish unlicensed copies or lightly rewritten versions of third-party recipe text, directions, photographs, articles, or other protected expressive material. Our recipe-generation and editorial policy is source-neutral. Recipes are developed through Stock & Stir systems, culinary knowledge structures, owner-contributed techniques, and editorial work unless an external source is explicitly identified and its use, license, permission, public-domain status, or required attribution is documented.

If you believe content on Stock & Stir infringes rights you own, contact legal@stockandstir.co with the material, location, ownership basis, and enough information for us to investigate.

7. Stock & Stir intellectual property

Except for third-party materials expressly identified as such, the Stock & Stir brand, software, interface, original text, original illustrations, original editorial compilations, database structures, and other original service materials are owned by or licensed to Lovett Landing, LLC and are protected as applicable by intellectual-property and other laws.

You may use Stock & Stir for ordinary personal or household purposes. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell, reverse engineer, circumvent access controls, harvest data, or use the service to build a competing dataset or product except where applicable law expressly permits such activity notwithstanding these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Stock & Stir to violate law, interfere with service operation, probe or bypass security, impersonate another person, submit malicious code, abuse automated interfaces, or access another household's data without authorization.

9. Service changes and availability

Features, recipes, data, integrations, availability, and supported devices may change. We may correct errors, remove unsafe or obsolete content, suspend features, or perform maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STOCK & STIR IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” LOVETT LANDING, LLC DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES THAT ARE NOT EXPRESSLY REQUIRED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOVETT LANDING, LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR SIMILAR LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO STOCK & STIR.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF LOVETT LANDING, LLC FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LOVETT LANDING, LLC FOR STOCK & STIR DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of Stock & Stir, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights. This provision does not require you to indemnify Lovett Landing, LLC for conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.

13. Termination

You may stop using Stock & Stir at any time and may cancel paid renewal as described in the Subscription & Cancellation Policy. Lovett Landing, LLC may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, nonpayment, serious misuse, or protection of the service or other users.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product or law changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and any notice required by applicable law. Continued use after an effective change constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
